Reiki originates from Japan and is thought to have been practised for more than 2,500 years but was most recently rediscovered by Dr Mikao Usui, in the early 20th century.
Translated Reiki means Universal life force. If we break the word into two; Rei means Universal wisdom/knowledge and Ki means life force energy.
Reiki is best described as a healing frequency of energy coming directly from source ( God/The Creator/The Universe/All that is). The healing effects of this energy can be channelled through a healer to connect with their client’s energy field. Reiki can only flow through those attuned to its unique vibrational frequency, and the attunement is passed energetically from the Reiki master to the Student, during a sacred ceremony.
What you could expect from a session
With me, at the Divine Reiki studio, you will remain fully clothed with the option of an additional lightweight blanket. At your first appointment, you will be given a complimentary Eternal Sunshine weighted eye pillow to aid relaxation. Eternal Sunshine essential oil blends and healing 432hz ambient music will also be used to complement your treatment. We use a fully immersive neckband speaker which helps to optimise the Dolby Atmos sound healing experience.
For returning clients, the aromatherapy (essential oil blends) may vary over the course of your treatments, depending on your requirements
We will begin with a meditation to help aid in relaxation.
The healing session will last for 45 mins and conclude with a short grounding meditation when you are back in the chair.
