The Root Chakra represents our foundation. With this chakra being at the base of our spine it provides us with stability and a sense of feeling grounded. When the root chakra is clear and open we feel confident and strong, but when it’s blocked we may feel unstable and anxious. The colour representing the root chakra is red, and its related element is earth.

The Sacral Chakra is the epicentre of our sexuality, creativity, and emotional responses. and is responsible for our ability to relate to others and ourselves. When this chakra is open it enables the healthy flow of emotions, but when it’s blocked we may feel a lack of control in our lives. The colour aligned with the sacral chakra is orange, and its related element is water.

The Solar Plexus Chakra brings us confidence and strength. It helps us believe in ourselves, and gives us the ability to transform our lives for the better. When this chakra is clear and open we are able to understand how to use our strengths to benefit our future. If this Chakra is blocked we may feel consumed by self-doubt and uncertainty. The colour aligned with the solar plexus chakra is yellow, and its related element is fire.

If this chakra is closed we will have difficulty expressing ourselves and developing relationships with others, as we won’t be able to truthfully say how we feel. The colour aligned with the throat chakra is blue, and its related element is sound.

The Third Eye allows us to connect deeper to our intuition, and provides clarity of self-awareness. Think of this chakra as the eye of our soul. With a highly developed third eye centre we can establish a closer connection to our consciousness, enabling us to register information received beyond the surface level. If this chakra becomes blocked it can negatively affect our concentration, and the way we process information. It can often make us fearful of the unknown. The colour aligned with the throat chakra is purple, and its related element is light.

The Crown Chakra allows us to connect with our higher consciousness and the divine force. The crown chakra provides an infinite source of healing energy through spirituality and enlightenment. A blocked crown chakra can create a disconnect to the world around us, and evoke feelings of instability throughout the physical body.

They must be diluted before being used on the skin. To dilute them safely please refer to our blending guidelines here… Essential oils are not suitable for topical application during pregnancy.
Essential oils can cause sensitisation to the skin. Always use any essential oils with care. Discontinue use immediately if a rash occurs. If you suffer from sensitive skin, please perform a patch test before applying to larger area.
Do not dispose of essential oils down the drain. Undiluted essential oils can be toxic to aquatic organisms and may cause long term adverse effects to the aquatic environment.
Eternal Sunshine’s essential oil and blends should never be taken internally. Keep essential oils away from sensitive areas, like the eyes. Should any essential oil come in to contact with the eyes, wash thoroughly with cold water and seek medical advice if required.
Ensure essential oils are kept out of the reach of children! If a child accidentally swallows any essential oil seek medical advice immediately.
Avoid spillages. If spilt, clean immediately. Please store in a dry dark place, away from direct sunlight and heat. Essential oils are flammable. Keep away from flames. If you are pregnant, suffer from a skin condition, epilepsy, asthma or are taking medication, please seek medical advice before use. Essential oils are not suitable for children. We recommend leaving the door open when using essential oils around animals, enabling them to come and go as they please.
Simply blend 5 to 20 drops of your favourite essential oil(s) with a tablespoon of carrier oil (we recommend using Grapeseed or Argan oil).
Gently swirl 3-5 drops of your blend into a warm bath to unlock the therapeutic powers of pure essential oils.
